Dover polesitter Jimmie Johnson top Cup pick, Kyle and Brad split in Nationwide, the Red Bulls are fastest in Singapore, Clint Bowyer kept the win but lost 150 pts after NASCAR tore down his car and Kyle's not racing in Vegas, even if a lot of players started him. Bummer.

Congratulations to Lockrey Racing on scoring the most points in RD#34 by picking nothing but podiums and who would have thought drivers like Jimmie Johnson, Tony Stewart, Mark Martin and Joey Logano would be shut out of FMFL points in the first round of the 2010 Chase?

Kyle wins pole in trucks, Bad Brad Keselowski in Cup and Helio in IndyCars at Motegi.  Other than Shrub at New Hampshire your humble Commish believes the fast qualifiers will be somewhere other than Victory Lane when the checkers fly.

Congratulations to TheCambyManCan on picking three of four winners and scoring the most points for RD#32 to win a limited edition GMP 1/18th scale Pontiac Judge Super Stock collectible.  Condolences to Mark Martin, Ryan Newman, Jamie Mac, Kasey Kahne, Dale Jr., Juan Pablo and David Reutimann on missing the chase.  And a genuine "You Stay Classy" wish to Kyle Busch for his unscheduled appearance in Victory Lane to talk to the Onion.

What a weekend -- and not just for the racers.  Congrats to nascarf1fano1 on winning Top Dawg honors for most points for the round, and kudos to 'hoos' on taking Monthly honors to earn a Mario Andretti Racing School Qualifier package.  But the big applause is reserved for Team Skidmarks, the winner of the Super 7 Sweep regular season contest, who will soon receive a Steve Kinser Outlaw r/c sprint car from CustomWorks autographed by Steve Kinser and Tony Stewart.

By this point in the season there are few surprises in the starter stats; all the usual suspects are at the top of each report and all that's left is for the race results to gauge our respective picking skills.   But oh, those intangibles.  A flat tire here, a spin or crash there, maybe even a takeout by some driver who fully embraces the 'have at it boys' concept.  And yes, I'm talking about Robby Gordon.

Kyle Busch has put his name at the top of an all new page in the record book after becoming the very first NASCAR racer to win all three touring series races in one weekend.   Move over, Neil Armstrong.  Rowdy Busch has the right stuff too.

Kevin Harvick won the Sunday Sprint Cup race at Michigan with more Fords (six) than Chevy's or Toyota's (five each) in the FMFL top 16 with Edwards, Biffle and Kenseth third, fourth and fifth.  What a nice way for Jack Roush to be greeted on his return to the track.

Eight players tied for most points for this weekend's RD#28 of the Wind Tunnel Super 7 Sweep fantasy game and congrats to ZOOMZOOMZOOM on winning a SPEED t-shirt (the Bobbleheads are still on backorder) by tiebreaker from most points from the previous weekend.

Carl and Brad are on probation, Sebastien and Mark are putting on the good face for Red Bull, Cup returns to the Brickyard for what could be one of the series' final appearances, the ALMS is in action at Lime Rock and the Will Power show is at Edmonton. Which favorite or three will bring heartache with a no points result this weekend?

After last weekend, when four players tied for most points, the Super 7 Sweep shows three NASCAR races, F1 at Silverstone and a welcome-back ALMS event in Utah for this round.  Any bets on whether or not a rare, highly-collectible Dave Despain -autographed Bobblehead will come down to who scored more points for the previous round again?
